The sound for Phélia was composed and designed with the goal of creating a blurry feeling to the viewer that transitions & teeters subtly between a bluntly real and a surreal sound world.  Working closely with the director, our goal was to contrast the overly realistic images of the film and seemingly very regular every-day routine of the main character with her deeply troubled nature, in a way that the viewer would shift together with the protagonist herself around her subjective perception and a more objective outsider’s perception of reality.
